New Tape Drive - The Compaq (Sony) SDX-500C 50/130GB AIT-2
Ultra-2 Wide SCSI tape drive in my file server has been replaced with
a Hewlett Packard Ultrium-1 Model 215 100/200GB Ultra-2 Wide tape
drive. The appropriate setup page has been updated to reflect this
change. |

New Monitor - About a month ago, the Gateway FPD2485W 24" LCD
monitor on my main workstation bit the dust. Research has indicated
the capacitors on the power supply board go bad. I have purchased a
repair kit, but I have not had the chance to repair it just yet. In
the mean time, I have purchased an Asus VE249H 24" LED montior. The
appropriate setup page has been updated to reflect this change. |

Replaced Video Card - The BFG Geforce 6800 Ultra PCIe video
card in my third server was a leftover from a system that took a
power hit a couple of years ago, and it was not functioning 100%.
It has been replaced with an ATI FireGL v5100 PCIe video card
w/128MB DDR SDRAM. The appropriate setup page has been updated to
reflect this change. |

Replaced DVD Burner Again - The LiteOn iHAS124 B DVD burner I
recently installed in my file server was not cooperating with some of
the software I use. It has been replaced with a LiteOn IHAP322 DVD

quit working. It has been replaced with a LiteOn iHAS124 B DVD
burner. The appropriate setup page has been updated to reflect this

New SATA RAID Controller- I have installed a 3Ware 9500S-4LP
four-channel SATA PCI-X RAID controller in my third server. The
Hitachi Deskstar HD31000 IDK/7K 1TB SATA-II hard drive that was in my
file server has been migrated over and connected to this controller.
Future upgrades will include extra drives to make a RAID 5 array for
backups. The appropriate setup pages have been updated to reflect
these changes. |

Third Server Upgrade - My third server has been upgraded with
the following hardware: dual Intel Xeon 3.6GHz CPUs w/1MB L2 cache,
Supermicro X6DAL-G motherboard, 8GB DDR-333 ECC registered SDRAM, and
an HP 1260i dual-layer DVD burner. The appropriate setup page has been
updated to reflect these changes. |

Lots of New RAM - The four Samsung (IBM) 1GB DDR-200 ECC
registered DIMMs (M383L2828DT1-CA0) in my main server have been
replaced with four Samsung 2GB DDR-266 ECC registered DIMMs
(M312L5628BT0-CB0). The appropriate web page has been updated to
reflect these changes. |

The four Appro (WINTEC) 1 GB DDR-266 ECC registered DIMMs (35952754)
in my file server have been replaced with eight Kingston 1GB DDR-333
ECC registered DIMMs (KVR333D8R25/1G). The appropriate web page has
been updated to reflect these changes. |
