A rarity. This is an original GP39, #4293, just south of Acca Yard
in Richmond, Virginia. CSX has only 16 of them as of January 1998.

Another sort-of rarity for CSX. This is a GP39-2 at Newport News'
yard near the main terminal. They possess only 20 as of January
1998. Notice that the cab door is open. |

A truly rare site. This is SD35 #4559 just south of Acca Yard in
Richmond. As of January 1998, this engine is not on the roster. I
do not know how many of these CSX ever possessed. Notice the older
CSX paint scheme. |
